Tiger School Smock Dressing Gown

Green bottle gingham school smock with orange binding and a photographic tiger, not a drawing, moving through the jungle, for ages 4 to 10. The big cat looks straight at whoever is viewing it from the front, and children love that more than any drawing.

The dark green check stands up to the school year without showing signs of wear: lunch and art-room stains blend into the small checks, so the smock still looks presentable in June. The orange-trimmed pocket sits on the checked side, at hand height.

The orange buttons stand out against the green and fasten easily without having to search for the buttonhole, while the elasticated cuffs hold the sleeves in place when they roll them up to work.
